Before getting started, students should determine what the criteria should be for the end product. Here are a few ideas for students to get started on a rubric:
- clarity of message
- presentation
- appropriate for the targeted audience
- engaging
Note to the teachers:
Students should build the rubric together -- before the creation phase. Using the Google+ Community page is a good place to communicate and share ideas. The teacher can use a wall on Padlet or a Google Doc to have students piece their ideas together. This can be done asynchronously or synchronously.
